Last updated: October 18, 2026

GT Flights (“we”, “us”) arranges private helicopter and airplane charter flights in Guatemala. This policy explains what personal information we collect through gtflights.com and our booking system, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

  • Flight requests. When you use a request or contact form, we collect your name, email address and trip details, such as your route, date, number of passengers, number of bags and total weight.
  • Bookings. When you book online, our booking system collects the details needed to arrange your flight. These can include passenger names, contact details, pickup and landing locations, your hotel, and international flight details.
  • Payments. Payments are handled by our payment providers. We do not store full card numbers on our website.
  • Messages. Anything you send us by email or another channel.
  • Website usage. Basic technical information, such as pages visited, device, browser and approximate location. This is collected through cookies and analytics tools (see “Cookies and analytics”).

How we use your information

  • To answer your requests, prepare quotes and confirm availability.
  • To book, plan and operate your flight safely. Passenger and luggage weight is needed for aircraft weight and balance.
  • To arrange your included shuttle and any ground services you ask for.
  • To process payments and send confirmations, invoices and important updates about your trip, such as weather changes.
  • To improve our website and services.
  • To meet legal, accounting and safety obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

We share information only as needed to provide your trip or run our business:

  • Aircraft operators and pilots who perform your flight, and the hotels or helipads where you take off or land.
  • Ground transportation providers for your shuttle. This includes our partner Sparks Travel when you ask for transfers, hotels or tours.
  • Service providers who help us operate, such as our online booking platform (Checkfront), payment processors, website hosting, email, and analytics (Google).
  • Authorities when the law requires it, for example civil aviation or airport security requirements.

Cookies and analytics

Our website uses cookies that it needs to work, including cookies set by our booking system. We also use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some features, such as online booking, may not work without them. To learn how Google uses this data, see How Google uses information from sites that use its services.

How long we keep it

We keep booking and payment records for as long as we need them to provide our services and to meet legal, tax and accounting requirements. We keep requests that do not become bookings only as long as they are useful to answer you. After that we delete or anonymize them.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to stop sending you messages that are not about an existing booking. Depending on where you live (for example the EU, the UK or certain US states), you may have additional rights under local law. To make a request, email info@guateflights.com. We may need to keep some information to complete a booking or to meet legal obligations.

Security

We use reasonable measures to protect your information, and we work with established providers for bookings and payments. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Children

Our services are booked by adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children except as provided by a parent or guardian for a booking, such as a child passenger’s name and weight.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
