Best time to fly

Weather and flight conditions

Mornings bring the clearest views of the volcanoes. In the afternoon the lake's “Xocomil” wind picks up and clouds often build, especially in the rainy season (May–October). That's why airplane flights to the lake run until 11:00 AM and helicopter flights until 2:00 PM.

If the weather isn't safe, you choose: move your flight to another day or time, or get a full refund.
